Catfish and the Bottlemen
Leading the charge as one of the countries most exciting new guitar bands, Catfish And The Bottlemen, released their epic debut album, ’The Balcony’ in September on Communion/Island Records. Produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian) and written by charismatic front man Van McCann, the album is packed full of radio favourites, including ‘Kathleen’, ‘Cocoon’, ‘Fallout’ and ‘Pacifier’.
With Catfish and the Bottlemen recently winning the coveted Best Newcomer at the inaugural BBC Music Awards, the UK has gone Catfish crazy. And the US is not far behind, where they were announced as the number 1 new artist in America by Billboard Magazine and single ‘Kathleen’, recently performed on The Late Show With David Letterman, became the number 1 most added song at Alternative Radio.
Currently forging a reputation as one of the UK’s best live acts, they spend most of February and March touring the States, returning to the UK March 24th for the start of another sold out UK tour, and two sold out Brixton Academy shows in November.
2015 is theirs for the taking.
